New 'Ugliest Dog' crownedOver the weekend, a purebred Chinese Crested from Tolleson won the Ugly Dog Contest at the Sonoma-Marin Fair in Petaluma, California. "We didn't really think we had a chance, we were just going to go to have fun," said Heather Peoples, the dog's owner. "He was the dark horse, completely." The unfortunate looking dog named Archie was once an abandoned animal, scheduled for euthanasia. Peoples agreed to adopt him before she ever laid eyes on him. Ouch! ;)
